The 10-in-105 Challenge in a nutshell...

The principle is simple - a challenge for Leah and Kate to both go out on at least 1 date with 10 guys in 105 days.... Hopefully find someone awesome, but at the very least have 20 stories between them to tell the world and learn something in the process!

After the initial date

A quick update on where they all are now ....

K-1 - After our initial date, K-1 sms'd me expressing a desire to also learn Krav.  I  took a week to respond, and only then mentioned the next intake was in July but gave him the web address...   With no further correspondence, I thought he took the hint - until today. He just called me 3 1/2 weeks later to "touch base" and let me know he was moving to Europe "after the Federal Election". ahahah..   Maybe he thought i was just taking my time again to get in contact!.

K-2 - After our second date, K-2 went overseas and will be over there I think for 3-6 weeks.  I actually haven't responded to his last txt yet but dont really see the point if he's not around anyway.

K-3 Is pretty keen to go putt putt this weekend and is still emailing/txting everyday- Unfortunately I think we need to have a chat and I need to make it clear it will only be as friends. Not looking forward to that conversation.

K-4  - I went on 4 dates with K-4 and whilst I still think he's a nice guy - it all came undone when I went around to his house for the first time for dinner - and arrived to him having had a few too many beverages. Dinner wasn't organised, & he couldn't drive - so i ended up driving to get some Chinese takeaway - After an unexpected "can we talk" moment where a lot of heavy stuff was put on the table - i realised we weren't really compatible afterall..

L-1 - I agreed to meet up with L1 again last weekend, and he surprised me with a trip to the museum and lunch on the river followed by a walk around South Bank.  It was a really great day and after chatting quite a bit since, I have agreed to catch up with him again this weekend - I believe a trip to Mt Tamborine is on the cards :-)

L-2 - The day after the date I had a text from L-2 saying he had a lovely time and would love to see me again.  He also suggested a wager of dinner on the upcoming Lions/Collingwood game.  In the interest of not leading him on I replied suggesting we would be better as friends... and that Lions would flog them anyway (couldn't resist).  He took it really well and now the pressure is off, so I can spend more time worrying about L3-10!  I have chatted with him since, but now at least he has no false hopes of being anything more than mates.
